Milano Genius: Arte, Cultura, Innovazione (Milano Genius: Art – Culture – Innovation) is a cultural project ideated by ASGProduzioni – department for performing arts, artistic development. international events and cross cultural platform of Asian Studies Group
Milano Genius promotes arts, innovation and culture as opportunities of cultural exchange and cooperation between East Asia and Italy, focusing on Milano as leading city for urban development in terms of sustainable perspectives and inclusive role in international community.
Milano Genius started on 2019 with official patronage of City of Milan and for those events and contents about Italy and Japan the format has been supported by the Italian Institute of Culture in Osaka. In particular the list of events promoted in Osaka received exclusive support an patronage of Municipality of Osaka, twinned City with Milan
For 2020, the network of institutional partners includes Hong Kong and, in occasion of 50° anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and China, the special cooperation with Italian Institute of Culture in Hong Kong makes Milano Genius much more operative on projects that represent strong opportunity for mutual enforcement between the two countries in terms of creative and dynamic dialogue
As partnered organisation, for the current edition Asian Studies Group will coordinate the agenda of the project’s activities in direct communication with Italian Institute of Culture in Hong Kong.
Usually the projects pursued through Milano Genius include a wide range of creative contents: Contemporary Art, Music and Theatre, Photography, Performing Arts and Design, that are promoted, spread and produced in Asia and in Milan in the name of creativity.
These themes are going to be developed thanks to a series of events and exhibitions that will take place both in Asia (China Japan Korea) and Milan.
